I am currently using Netscape 7.2 Mail manager and would like to switch to Thunderbird 1.5. What is the process for migrating my profiles and saved email folder to Thunderbird 1.5.

I would also like to install Firefox 1.5 and use my saved bookmarks which are under both Netscape 7.2 and IE 6.0.

If NS7.2 is installed and working, you should be asked if you want the NS7.2 settings, and get your accounts the same way. Honestly, I don't remember how I did it. In the case of Firefox, again you would have the choice. I had imported as requested my Mozilla settings, to set up Firefox1.0.7. As for 1.5, since I wanted to keep 1.0.7 until I am sure which one I wanted, I created a special profile, copied the 1.0.7 bookmarks, and pasted them into 1.5.
NS7.2 imports the IE Favorites, so its bookmarks.html file would have all the Favorites, as well as Bookmarks.

    rgm88,

When you install Thunderbird 1.5, you will see the Import Wizard screen, and there you can indicate from which application you wish to Import your personal data. See this Screen Shot.

You will have the same choices in Firefox.
