    I create all of my documents in Microsoft Works, but when I go to open them I always receive the following error;

    Adobe Reader cannot open fileneme.wps because it is either not supported file type or the file has been damaged. For example it was sent as an email attachment and it wasn't correctly decoded.

    This just drives me crazy that I cannot open a file I created.

    Any suggestions.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

    It sounds like the file association for Works Word Processor files has become corrupted ....

    Right click a .wps file in Windows Explorer > Open with and select Works Word Processor from the list and check the box 'Always open with .....'
