   i have microsoft works cd and when i cleaned my pc room up i must have thrown away the key and now i'm unable to load it to pc.does anyone know if there is a way to get new keys to open it

   If the pc is an OEM like compaq, hp, dell, then contact them.
   Else, call MS. Product keys cannot be shared between computers per the software license agreements.
