If I type something in Microsoft Word deliberately wrong it doesn't spell check it or offer to correct it. It only checks grammar. Any ideas? It's part of Microsoft Office 2000. Unfortunately, I don't have the installation disk so can't run detect and repair, but I hope it's something more simple than that.

If you hit F7 does in spell check?

Have you looked in Tools->Options->Spelling tab for the various options?

Thanks for the reply Steve R Jones. If I press F7 it brings up all the miss-spelt words. I've just noticed it was the settings. I could have sworn that I had all of that checked. Ah well, problem solved. Thanks Steve R Jones.

Do worry that it refers to OE. Your csapi3t1.dll file has probably gone astray or is corrupt. With luck you will find a copy somewhere still on the PC.
If you are runnning WinXP, you could try a System Restore to a date prior to this occuring.
