Microsoft Word 2002

Boy, does this senior citizen really feel senile!

We have a new program, Microsoft Suite, in which is located Microsoft Word 2002. I am trying to make some address labels, each different in each partition. I will be using Avery #8167 labels.

I can find nothing is the small book at accompanied the program nor in the help section to tell me how to begin using (and seeing on the screen ) the particular detail of apage of labels. Any hope will be very much appreciated.

By the way, I use Widows 98SE , Internet Explorer/Outlook Express 5.5

Charles: I have MS Word 2000, but 2002 should be similar.

You can find the tools for making labels by opening a blank document and clicking on Tools>Envelopes and Labels on the menu bar.

It is slightly different in Word 2002

Go to Tools > Letters and Mailings > Envelopes and Labels

Select the Labels tab

From the list under Product Number: choose 8167 and click OK

Click on New Document and start filling in your labels

 

Thanks KevinSaul, M$ seems to have a thing for making minor changes between versions, just to keep us on our toes I guess.

 

Word 2002: Printing labels with graphics

I'm also using Word 2002 but with XP. I, too, am having trouble with labels. Not with creating them but with printing them with inserted pictures. The text prints, but the pictures do not. Any suggestions?
