Microsoft Word 2000-Drawing Toolbar

I have Microsoft Word 2000 installed on my laptop running Windows XP. For some reason, I cannot seem to get any of the devices on the drawing toolbar to either show up on the print preview or to print. I have tried all views but cannot find any other settings or options to change. I have the same Word program installed on my other laptop and the items print in the proper manner. If I use the the text box and insert text inside, I see this on the screen but again, not in the print preview view, nor will it print.

Look at tools > options > print tab and make sure that drawing objects is checked.

 

Sparrow- Thank you so much. That did the trick!! I would say that over the past 6 months I have tried to figure out the problem and then would give up and use my other computer. I am glad that I finally consulted the forum.
