It stopped working...slowly. Loss of key functions over a few minutes. No battery warnings. I changed the batteries anyway. Didn't help. Reset button is no help. Key board appears to be dead. Should I just get a new one or is there a software fix?

Hi and welcome to the BBS,

If you can use it to enter the BIOS/startup configuration settings, that means there will be a problem with the drivers or software in Windows.

It may depend on how the startup settings handle USB keyboards. Probably the quickest test would be to try setting it up on a different computer. If it worked, you would need to find the BIOS setting for USB (legacy) devices and enable it. It may mean that the CMOS battery in the computer is running low.
