    Hello plmtraveller,

    Would this apply?

I am unsure what the full name of rotwat~2.exe is but I suspect....

This may be part of Roxios Media Manager that watches certain folders for different types of media like audio and video files. It may be systray loaded. You can turn it off without adverse affects. Either right click on the icon in the systray and 'stop watching folders' or open Media Manager. There is a menu option to turn off watched folders.

Or use msconfig startup tab to disable any systray icon startup related to roxio.

Hi Goddez1 (or is it Ann?),

I found RoxWatchTray9.exe in msconfig startup and disabled it, which seems to have done the trick.

    Thanks,

    Paul
