    Affirmative buddy.
And I forgot to mention that Performance Centre was deleted before and I checked and it has not returned. I thought maybe that was the problem again.

    OK,

I'm assuming you only get this error now when starting Firefox not during Startup like before. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Try starting firefox in Safemode?

    Start->All Programs->Mozilla FireFox->Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)

Do you still get the error?

Don't know what just happened, but for about 15 min I could not get on the site. Strange.
Now then, I restarted - no message.
Opened Firefox in safe mode - no message.
Opened in reg mode - no message.

BUT, the message did not appear when I 1st started Mozilla the last time. I came back to the computer and there it was starring at me.
    I'm puzzled.

re: the site, Nothing strange. Probably normal maintenance.

As far as your error goes, give it a couple of days and see if it reappears. If it does see if you can determine some common factor.

    Edit:

Just re read your post, are you saying the message is back?

I got the error message once tonight, and then put this thread up.
    Have not seen it since.

    OK,

Monitor the situation and let us know if it comes back.

BTW what version of FF are you running? Help->About

And if you can list the addons you have installed it may help. Tools -> Addons

Oh, and when I closed out the error message, the computer hiccuped, and then Firefox shut down.

Hiccup = 1. similar to a burp 2. a slight irregularity, error, or malfunction

Now seriously, the computer paused (mini freeze) before Firefox shut down.

Sorry bud, didn't notice the question the 1st go round. (Oh, did I mention I'm partially deaf, dumb, and blind? :D) Ooops, sorry that's my brother Tommy - he's a pinball wizard.

And he plays a mean game of pinball ;)

Try running firefox in safe (no addon) mode for a while and see if the problem persists.

BTW could you quote the exact error you are getting now.

    Right on dude!
As soon as the weather warms a bit I'm off to the Holiday Camp!

"Mozilla Firefox - Application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way ".

This is a close approx. I'd need to see it again to quote, which will probably be in the a.m. (9 hrs from now).

In safe mode will the addons automatically be skipped (not load)?

If you can it may help.

Firefox safe mode not windows safe mode, and yes addons won't load.

    Hold the line mate.
If I get the error code for you I believe I will have to remain in standard mode. Now this may be incorrect, since the error may be generated in safe mode, but...

    So which is it?
(Maybe you should get yourself off to Tommy's. ;) )

    Ok, just to clarify.

Try safe mode for a while, if you get the error post back with the exact message.

If you don't get the error then we can try disabling those addons one at a time to see if any are responsible.
