   Just tried downloading Microsoft Security Essentials a number of times. Every time I run setup, I get the message "Setup.exe is not a valid Windows 32 Applcation" What gives??

   Installing on XP? Download and install the latest Windows Installer for XP:
   http://www.microsoft.com/DownLoads/...FC-5F56-4A38-B838-DE776FD4138C&displaylang=en
   
   Install the Windows Installer. Then make sure Automatic Updates Service is ON and set to Automatic.
   
   Then run the MSSE installaer again.
   
   If using Vista or Windows 7 then download the MSSE for your operating system.
