Microsoft Outlook: lost the ability to open attachments

    I have lost the ability to open attachments from my viewer pane. They don't even appear in the right hand corner. I have to open message completely to double click attachment. Any ideas? Thanks, sttonk

    On what should be a very thin line between the headers and the preview pane, right under the bar which lets you drag the message window larger or smaller, double click and the header bar should reappear...complete with attachment icon.

    If double clicking doesn't work, right click on that narrow line and choose "header bar. "
