In Outlook Express, you can set up a rule where it will search the body of an incoming email and when it matches your criteria, it will send a custom made reply to the address it came from.

In MS Outlook, it doesn't have the option of "Reply to message ". It only has "reply with a specific template ".

How do I get around this and reply to certain emails with my own text?

    Thanks

    JH

    Thanks Steve,

The template has an extension of oft (Outlook Item). How do I change my text so that I can save it as *.oft?

    Thanks

    Start a new mail message.

Type in the body of the mail "your own text. "

Click File Save As->Change the type to OFT->Name the file MAIL.
