Resolved Microsoft Outlook 2003 Proofing Tool Message

    I created an email Friday and upon using the spell checker I rec'd the following message: Spell check cannot find proofing tools for German. If you have proofing tools try installing. Contact local reseller to obtain proofing tool.
    I have never rec'd this message in the past. Any input would be appreciated.

    This means you have some text formatted in the German language. When the spell-checker encounters it in the document, it asks you to install the German Language proofing tools.

    You can simply select all text in the document/email and just set the correct language.

    Someone with Office 2003 would probably know where to find it (if you can't). If you are using Word as your email editor in Outlook, you'll set it in Word.
