Microsoft Office programs "install" every time I open them

Whenever I open Microsoft Office programs (XP Version 2002), I see a notice that the program is being installed. I recently re-installed my operating system, copied the program files back from another hard disk, and then re-installed Microsoft Office from the CDs.

So far this is just an annoyance. It only takes a couple of seconds to "install." But I'm worried that it will turn into trouble down the line.

Open Add/Remove programs, select MS Office and click Change (or insert the Office setup cd and wait for it to autorun). It should bring up an option to Repair, Add or Remove Features, or Remove. You want to Add or Remove Features. On the next screen, click the little arrow next to the drive icon for the Microsoft Office heading. Select 'Run all from my computer' then click Update Now. Have your Office cd(s) ready if you chose the Add/Remove programs route.

Once done, log off/on again or restart and see if the behavior persists.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried it, but it did not help.
