I saw some Microsoft Office 2007 (Home and Student as well as the Basic editions) for sale.

The seller was a power seller on eBay and the software seems legit. (I.E. Product Key sticker in the back with a unique and unused product key, gold holographic CD, all shrink wrapped in a Microsoft "Do Not Discard The CDs or This CD Case" case.)

I wanted to buy a copy for the computers I'm building for my cousins.

So here is the question: Does the OEM version install on up to three computers like the retail version?

    Thanks.

The typical Retail version is only good for one pc....They do sell "multi pack" copies of it...Since OEM versions are designed to be installed at the factory odds are they don't make multi packs.

You might look around about the license issue. Previous version of Office could be installed on a notebook and a Desktop as long as they weren't used at the same time....
