After booting Windows 2000 Prof and clicking on to AOL, getting message
"An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue and applicatiion will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object. "

Clicking Continue does nothing..the msg stays on the screen.

Click on the link in my signature: "Search the MS Support Knowledge Base (KB)" and search for the error message.

No I don't Steve. It usually occurs when I first boot up Windows in the morning. The last three days the message disappears in the afternoon.

    Steve:

I took the comp back to my computer man. The problem had to do with a corruption in the registry and the configsys file. It's cleared up now. Thanks for you effort.

    Olejohn:)
