I recently bought the above (wired) keyboard which looks very nice and has the usual plethora of time-saving 'Hot' keys, the majority of which, as expected could be better be described as mildly 'Tepid' keys.
One useful key which is completely missing (despite advertising to the contrary by CNET) is a hot key for 'search'.
I would like to re-assign one of the other hot keys as my search button but I don't know how to do it as I can't find any file (in windows xp) that opens 'search'.
I am given the option to re-assign keys; all I need to do is find the relevant file, and that is what I can't in this instance do.
I'd be obliged for any ideas.
    Thanks

You could download and use Agent Ransack it's more reliable than XP's search as well.
