    Hi

I wonder if someone can tell me why I keep getting a Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library error in my Outlook Express. This is what it keeps on saying

Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library abnormal program termination 0x0135f9ef reference memory at 0x013b36d8.

How can I fix this. I've tried re-installing the program and restarting the program. I've even tried looking it up but found nothing.

    Thanks for any help

Wisegal (not being to wise right now...lol )

Hello wisegal and welcome to the Board :)

Try the steps in this MS article on this problem:

    http://support.microsoft.com/?id=307817

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error" error message after you install Office XP or an Office XP program

    Hi Charles

Thanks for replying. I did the steps from the site you suggested. I don't have anything in the statup called MoSearch. I'm working with Windows XP Home Edition. I looked in my add and remove programs to see if I have any MS office programs the only thing there is MS Office PowerPoint Viewer 2003. Could that be the problem? If it is, is there a different one I should be using. :)

    Thanks
    Wisegal.

    Hi Wisegal,

Did a lot of searching and did not find a difinitive answer.

This could be a hardware memory problem as well.

To test that, download MS's memory diagnostic utility.

    Hi Wisegal,

msimn.exe is the main OE program, and may have to be re installed. Do you know how to save your OE info if that proves necessary? I don't use OE as my e-mail client.

I download Reg. Booster and it found 255 errors. It would only let me fix 6 so I bought the program to fix them all. Let's hope this works.

Thanks for all your help in this matter. :) :D

    Hi Kim,

    Congratulations :)
    Not at the moment.
Now that you know what the problem is, re installing may also solve it - something got corrupted, although if it started from the get go, don't.

Pete, thanks for the link :)

    Regards - Charles
