Microphone Help...(Beep In Background)

    I run Windows ME with an On board sound (Sound Max Integrated Digital Audio) works fine when playing CDs, DVDs, Games and Windows Sounds, etc.

    But when i use my Mircophones is beeps in the background... Ive searched all the setting i could find and i cannot find a solution!

    Can anyone help me plz?

    Try opening the volume control icon in the lower right hand corner and put a check mark in the box to mute the microphone.
