Microphone feedback

    I've been told by countless people that my laptop's in-built mic has too much feedback.
    I'm using an Asus M50Vm laptop.
    Could anyone tell me what is feedback and how do i resolve this problem?

    I don't have much experience with laptop microphones. I expect your feedback is coming from your laptop or desktop speakers. The sound comes out of the speakers then goes back through the microphone...round and round.

    That's what I might expect is happening.

    I suggest you use headphones rather than speakers. You might want to consider a headset.
