Excellent. I went to 'Menu' under "Item" and changed the Font to MS Sans Serif-Western size 8, and now it's back to normal. (Have NO idea what default it was trying to use, but it was miniscule!)

    Thanks!

The problem was that the MS fix which you used removes all fonts and then reinstalls the default windows fonts. You probably had set fonts for your menu which were removed and were replaced when you did the fix. All you needed to do was to select a font which you now have and set the size.

    Fonts folder empty??

    I have an oddity:
After doing the above and reinstalling the default fonts, when I look in the fonts folder in Windows it is empty! YET when I go to DOS and look in the same folder there are 157 font files in it. None of these files have hidden or system attributes so I don't understand why I can't see them in windows. Any ideas?

    Fontreg.exe must be run

I checked the MS site and turns out I had to also run the FONTREG.EXE program afterwards. Now 87 of the 57 fonts are back (guess I have to reinstall the others).
