    Hello all,
    a quick question (for once)!

Can SDRAM PC133 memory modules be used on a motherboard designed for SDRAM PC100?

(I would think so but they will run on the lower bus speed.)

    Thanks for Your time,
    Christer

Yes and No. Usually high density PC133 gives PC100 MoBo's problems but low density should run fine. Stay away from anything with chips that are set parallel to to the elongated configuration of the memory module itself.

    Thanks guys, for Your input!

I´ve got two different types. Both are 256 MB Samsung Original, one is double sided and the other is single sided (with half the number of chips which I guess makes it a higher density). On both memory modules, the chips are oriented orthogonally across the memory module, they "stand up" when the memory module is seated on the motherboard.
