    Hi motts,

I have only come across Geil briefly, although it worked fine. Kingston and Corsair have worked fine as well.

One of the most important things is compatibility with the motherboard. I suggest you look at the website of those manufacturers and see their recommendation for the best type for your motherboard. Some motherboards require special RAM, you may purchase high quality RAM, but it may not be compatible with your motherboard. Matching RAM with the motherboard seems to be slightly "hit and miss" as well, you will see requests to contact the manufacturer to tell them how compatible their RAM you are using works with your motherboard.

Check what type/model they recommend specifically for your motherboard and choose the quality you can afford.

All those brands are at the top of the market. The difference would probably be how it works on your motherboard.

    Matt
