Memory leaks?

    Can somebody explain what memory leaks are I know it's to do with your ram but how do you know if it is happening and does it cause your computer to act slow?.Theres just so many things to learn when your new to all this :)

    memory leak

    A bug in a program that prevents it from freeing up memory that it no longer needs. As a result, the program grabs more and more memory until it finally crashes because there is no more memory left.

    I think your speed problems are spyware related rather than a memory leak though. I'm closing this thread and you can get more information from the other one I just moved to the spyware section.
