memory ecc

    Is ECC memory an error checking type of memory and will it work in most common systems.:)

    If your system supports it...which it probably does... than you have to enable it in your bios to use it... and you can't use non-ecc then with it. It is really just used for servers though... that doesn't mean you can't use it for pc or workstation... but it isn't really necessary. It is more expensive too...
