Started getting the message "Memory Access Violation in kernel32 4833-64615381" when winXP starts today after installing MS Reader. Performed 'chkdsk /F' ... didn't help. Restored system back several days but still receive same error.
Where should I go from here?

If "restored system" means you used the XP System Restore to roll back, it was worth a try but wasn't likely to help since it only keeps track of system files and it sounds like a file associated with the applet is causing your problem.

    Can you un-install the reader?
