Windows Media Player starts up, and then will not load a media file such as an mpeg movie. It then freezes up, and won't allow me to delete it even with Crtl, Alt, Delete. After about 2 or 3 minutes, it shuts down on it's own, and from that point on, it will work OK. This happens each time I start the computer.
    Looking for ideas...Thanks

Also...I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove Windows Media Player from Win XP, so that I might try to reinstall it.
    Thanks
