Media Player won't play videos

    My Windows Media player will play audio of all videos and music I have but only plays a few seconds of the video before the screen goes blank. As I said, the audio will still play.

    Any solutions?

    Maybe Try Reinstalling Windows media Player....Usally every 6 months My Windows Media player always gets messed up, But When I Re Install It It goes back to Normal. So that would Be my suggestion.

    I agree with error. Have you tried installing any codecs (divx, xvid, etc.) lately that may have caused it to flake out? Or possibly another player...like Quicktime or Real? One thing is for sure WMP doesn't play pretty with everyone else!

    Thanks for the replies, fellas. It was the codec that did it. I'm watching my fights again! Wahooo!:)
