Media Player 9 series for XP?

    Running XP Home Edition with Media Player 8 (version which came with my XP CD). Any reason to upgrade to the latest Media Player for XP?

    About 120 new options/features. Faster streaming. New skins. Mini player. Etc., etc. Browse around here. It really is an UPGRADE , like going from a Cavalier to a Cadillac. :)

    WMP9 is the best player I have. Once you start exploring, you'll discover all kinds of options. After installing, right-click your taskbar, Toolbars, and enable the WMP toolbar. It will then minimize to the taskbar and you can play videos in a small window while you surf.

    It autochecks your music folders for added or changed files. And much more.

    I think MS really outdid themselves on this one.

    But another excellent palyer that plays almost all formats and has many features is JetAudio .
