When I select full screen mode in Media Player 9, it doesn't exactly display the streaming video in full screen mode if that makes sense.

Instead at the bottom of the screen is the toolbar controls such as stop, play, pause, fast forward, etc.

if I right key on the toolbar, there is nothing that pops up allowing me to disable it.

I'm thinking with earlier versions of Media Player this toolbar would disappear in full screen mode. Then reappear when the escape key was pressed.

I have -de-selected everything I can think of in the control panel in order to get a true full screen mode. What is it I am not selecting to disable this?

    Or is this even possible?

Years since I used WMP 9 - I am sure there is an option to hide the toolbar, but I have no means of evaluating.

Your question begs the question - why are you not using WMP 11?

When you don't move the mouse the controls will disappear. But like Pete said, WMP9 is ancient (2002)
