Media Player 10 [cannot play online video]

    On my 2nd pc, I have installed every codec (divx, smd, mediaplayer, nero, etc) for windows media player 10. I also have installed uninstalled and reinstalled media player 10. The problem is video's found online, ie yahoo launchcast, stupid videos, etc, wont play in media player. The player loads and says ready but is not accessible nor does it play any video. Anyone have this problem?

    Hello Max,

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq.aspx is a FAQ site for WMP.

    While most of this is basic info and if there isn't an answer to your particular question - there is a link to a MS help forum on WMP.

    Have you tried searching here, threads on WMP10 come up quite often.
