    Hi there,

I recently do a clean install of Windows XP Professional Volume Licensing CD (I believe is legal CD is a Corp Edition) for my computer at work. My Product ID in Control Panel is xxxxx-640-xxxxxxx-xxxxx.

May I know will I still be able to do the Windows Update after I install Windows XP SP1 in next month when it comes out.

    Please advise.

If your Corporate copy of XP Pro has the serial # starting with FCKGW- then your CD key is the illegal leaked corporate version and will most probably be disabled as far as Windows update access goes when you try to install SP1. SP1 won't install either.
