Resolved Maximized windows in Win 7

    Hello, All -

    I haven't been here for a while so forgive me if I've missed something related to this question.

    Is there a way to get each window to open up already maximized? This is a new computer and my first experience beyond XP Pro and having to maximize every screen is driving me crazy.

    With XP everything would stay maximized after stretching it and closing from the File tab but that hasn't been my experience so far with Win 7. Am I missing something?

    As always, any and all help will be greatly appreciated. :)

    Not sure how but I got it to open maximized. Saving my sanity for now.
