How do I maximize my desktop shortcuts or links? Everytime I click on them they minimize in the task bar and I have to right click to maximize them. There should be a way to just open them without having to go to the task bar.

    Try this:

    *Right click the shortcut link

*in drop down labeled "run" select either Normal or *maximized
