So He Gave Each Man A $1 And Kept The Other
$2 For Himself.

This Meant That The 3 Men Each Paid $9 For The Room, Which
Is A Total Of

Add The $2 That The Bellboy Kept = $29.

Where Is The Other Dollar?

 

Took a bit of thinking but, if the men recieved 5 dollars back, that means the three of them only had paid 25 dollars before getting the money back. This means each of them had paid 8.3333333333333333333333333333333 dollars (25 divided by 3). Add one dollar to that (the dollar they received from the bellboy) and multiply the answer by 3 and you get 28. Add the two dollars the bellboy kept and you end up with 30. Sneeeaaaakkkky!
