    Ever since I got onto Verizon DSL, each time I start the computer I get a momentary taskbar item called MATCLI. Searching the web brings up only information about Compaq machines (and that over two years old)... What is it, do I need it and how (if I don't) do I get rid of it?

    :confused: Assuming it's either spyware or something else I really don't care to have around, I'm putting the question here, but if there's a more apposite forum, let me know!

    So...in short...take a look for it.......by going to start...then run...then typing msconfig...and looking under the start up tab.
