    Hello,Hope you can help!
My daughter "cleaned" up her computer and I guess she may have deleted a file and now it's causing her laptop to keep searching for an Internet connection and AOL, which she has, keeps popping up and you you cannot get rid of it. The file that is missing Is: SN MASTER.IDX DATABASE FILE. She found it In her hidden files but she could not put It back in. Also, restored to when all was working well and that did not help either.
    Thanks, Snookie28

Hello Pete, I finally fixed it!!!! After getting the Blue Screen Of Death, I restarted In Safe Mode, went to add/remove programs and checked all that applied to AOL. You have to click that you want even passwords and personal data from AOL removed or even after all is removed, you will keep getting the AOL connection window that never stops coming up so I Installed AOL all over again and that worked fine. From reading the link that you sent me, a lot of people have this problem with AOL....I don't have It:D Thanks everyone....now If my daughter just quits playing around!!! (with the puter);)

Congratulations :D I must admit I was not confident of a positive outcome here.

My sister insists on running AOL - I keep well away from it!!
