If by "mask" you mean hide, it would depend on exactly who you want to hide if from.

If you have a router that offers NAT and you use it, only the address assigned to the router will show up and it will conceal your actual IP address from anyone outside your internal network.

Easier to give a reasonable answer if you ask a more specific question.

    Hiya

You may want to try out a proxy. These can be entered into your Internet Options, or if its a Cable Modem, just follow the same instructions, but choose LAN option instaed.

    If you go here:

    http://www.searchlores.org/fiatlu/proxy.html

This is a good place to start.

And this is how to configure them:

    http://www.searchlores.org/fiatlu/setproxy.html

Then, as this may take a while, you will need to check if the proxy is really anon. Don't take the Web pages word for it.

Try the checkers, but try a few. I like

    http://www.leader.ru/secure/who.html

so try before and after a proxy.

    Regards

    eddie
