    Hi All,

Ive got several media players installed on my PC,

    Windows Media Player 9
    Quicktime 6
    Realplayer 6

is there any way of making Windows Media Player the prefered player for all file types supported? , as i prefer the interface it uses.

    Thanks

Tools/Options and File types, click all that you require. Check the preference settings in the other players incase an option to always play these file types (or similar) is ticked as this may over ride the media player settings.
As you state some file types are not supported by WMP so other applications (if installed) will play these.
