I was installing Lexmark printer X7675 and was having problems, I deleted some of printer binarys in reg edit. All of the sudden my internet connection stopped, my internet is working because I can access from my laptop.

I cannot get in any of the progrmas, control panel, ect., it says windows explorer not responding. After I cannot shut down, or access anything. I have to press the shut off, button. I started in a safe mode but cannot start up any of the services that have stopped. What can I do.

Start looking for the System RESTORE function and restore back to an earlier date.

Do you know why Steve's suggestion should work?

Did you read that editing the registry is at your own expense?

If you want to take that avenue, don't bother asking why.
