Major Sites Will Certify Adware Downloads

    Don't get excited, as you saw "CNET does not currently plan to require certification for software distributed through its Download.com site, although it will be one factor considered, said Scott Arpajian, senior vice president for Download.com." and any download site that required the certifications would be out of business in less than a year.

    Shareware will remain the number one way to get software from the web and there is no way that the majority of shareware developers could even think of paying for a service like that.
