ok, for osme reason, i was trying to show my friend something in Command Promt (so it looked like DOS), in Safe Mode, and i think i messed something up. When i try to boot up in normal mode, it hangs at the Welcome screen for a little while, my backround comes up, but no taskbar or anything. i try to end explorer.exe and restart it. It brings up my taskbar and sutff, but no drivers, i presume, are loaded, so no internet. PLEASE HELP!

edit: i remembered i did reboot after i showed him the DOS thing. But still, i have no idea as to why this is happening. please help!

Check the contents of your boot.ini file for improper scripting. It's normally a hidden read-only file located on the root of your system partition so be sure your view is set to see all files. If in doubt about the scripting, post the contents here for review.
