    Hi Friends,

    The problem is as follows:

1.) I migrated a user from Win98 to W2K. The version of Netscape
remained the same i.e. 7.02. BTW the Win98 and W2k
    machines are separate.

2.) I have copied the *.msf and *.snm files safely on our network.

3.) When I copied files under relevant directory i.e.

    \documents and setting\user\application data.....

    it does not work!

    The exact error message is

"The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: SELECT failed: Can't open mailbox Queries: no such mailbox.

    Any help appreciated.

    Welcome to the Forum, prabhat!

    Hi prabhat,

The files you copied were the Mail summary files, which contain custom settings. These files should NOT be copied to the new Netscape setup on W2K. The files that should be copied are the files WITHOUT the SNM/MSF extension.

Take a look at this guideline for Transferring Netscape Profiles from PC to PC.

Post back with any further questions.

    Ramona :D
