A few days ago the Mail Toolbar disappeared from my SeaMonkey's Composer window and without it I couldn't send e-mails (no Send button). When I checked the View > Show/Hide menu, it showed all four toolbars being checked but the Mail Toolbar itself wasn't appearing. I restarted SM, then rebooted the computer, with no improvement. I then did a Google search and found one site that showed a solution much like the ones I'm quoting below, but unlike them it addressed the Mail toolbar rather than the Menu and Navigation toolbars, and it worked for me. Today my wife phoned. She's visiting friends in another state and has her laptop with her, which also uses SM, and she's having the same problem, no Mail Toolbar. I couldn't remember the exact solution I'd used, and when she tried the ones below, they didn't work, of course.

I figured out that (in the English version) you have to hold Alt down, then
for menu strike v, w, e sequentially, and
    for navigation bar v, w, n sequentially.

I suspect the solution we need is like those above, just using a different letter series while holding down the Alt key. I can't experiment on my machine because the right toolbars are already showing on it. We're both using the latest version of SM.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

I should add that I've asked her to check the tiny scrollbars to the left of the toolbars and she said that there is a vertical scrollbar by each of the displayed toolbars, as there should be, but there is no horizontal scrollbar that she can click on to wake up the missing Mail Toolbar.
