I suddenly seem to have a problem sending mail. Normally when I send an e-mail I get a window with a slot that fills up with green as the message is sent. Now I get the window, it does not fill up and the message does not get sent. Is this my problem or is it one with my provider? Thanks.
    I haven't changed any settings.

I think I know what happened. I sent an e-mail to a large number of people and had all of them as "Bcc" with no "To" entry. I believe this confused the mail program. After rebooting, and now sending an e-mail, it seems to work fine now.
BTW Ramona, I looked at your work around but in Mozilla 1.6 there is no advanced button.
    Thanks for your help.

The Advanced for SMTP was in a different location with Mozilla1.4 and NS7.1, and has been located in the Server settings of the account.
I have not used Mozilla1.6 for long time, so I can't say. I have no idea why they have to stick something important in a button described only as Advanced. This is really lame.

    ackerberg,

Sorry about the Advanced button, but I thought you had upgraded to Mozilla 1.7.5???

I still had the same problem after I wrote my last post, even though the sent mail popup with the green thermometer did work correctly, and then it did not. So I am confused and can not figure out if it is a Mozilla problem or a Verizon(my server) problem. Anybody else have this problem?

I don't know. You still did not answer to Ramona or my question. Is it 1.6 or 1.7.5. Did you look at the correct Advanced?
