The startup I mean is the opening of Mozilla or Netscape.
I am asking this question because someone at another forum was complaining that Calendar did not open when Moz1.7.6 shortcut was selected.
Of course, he had Navigator and Calendar selected in Appearance|when NS or Moz start up|open|Navigator/ Calendar. The same applies to Mail.
I remember that with NS4.x if I selected Navigator and Mail, both would appear in the Quick Launch toolbar. I never saw this of great advantage, but, why not?
This fellow said that he got things to work normally when he upgraded Moz to 1.7.7. In my case, it does not matter what combination is selected, only Navigator shows up.
What is the opinion of you guys, and what are your pref settings, should I want to have this multiple startup?

    Westside,

In Mozilla 1.7.7, if I enable both Navigator, Mail, and Calendar, in Preferences, for startup, the Mail doesn't startup, but if I add the -mail to the target line it will startup, but gives me an IPF in msgbsutl.dll every time? Things that make you go hmm.

    Ramona,
I am sure that Communicator devotees want to have the feature, but, I can get at the same place, by copying the the shortcut, pasting it, on the Desktop, and, modifying the Target as desired. I renamed the icons, and, even gave them icons of their own. So, I have three different shortcuts, but, I don't check the items in my prefs. It is unnecessary, because, I either play with the Calendar, or Mail, and often the Suite. But, from now on either item has a life of its own. I never get any error, my way.
