    How can I remove mail message notification from log in screen. It appeared after MSN messenger was used. I deleted messenger and all the passport stuff but it still shows how many unread messaged I have. It also shows how many unread messages from someone else that used my computer to check their hotmail/msn messenger.
    Help!

    The free Power Toy from MicroSoft called TweakUI has an option to NOT display the XP "feature." Can search this forum for TweakUI.

    Open Regedit and navigate to;

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail

    Double-click the value MessageExpiryDays in the right pane and change the value to 0.

    Close Regedit and loff off from Windows for the changes to take effect.

    HTH. :)
