macromedia flash problem

    I was trying to help a friend with using Macromedia's Flash program. I get errors when I try to access saying flash.ocx can't be accessed. Long story short, I uninstalled all referencecs to flash and reinstalled and it is still unusable. I checked the browser and that seems to be okay. obviously something isn't working properly. I can help rebuild her system, but it seems like there should be a way to fix this. she is using Windows XP Pro. any help would be appreciated. thanks!
