    lsass.exe -system error The endpoint format is invalid

    I am getting this error at boot when I attempt to set "adjust for best performance of:" to the value of: System Cache in the advanced performance options tab.

    Does anyone know what might be causing this error?

    I have XP Sp1 and all latest updates,1Gb of ram and a 250Mb pageing file.
