I have a 17" display so my resolution is set to 1024x768x32.
But when I run some games/programs which runs at 640x480 and cannot be increased in resolution, XP keeps popping up this message that I need to run the program in 800x600 which interrupts the full-screen application and prevents me from running it.
"To run this application, screen resolution should be 800 by 600 pixels at least. "
This is annoying and I don't want Windows XP to display this prompt. Since there is no problem in running the application at 640x480 this message is useless. How can I stop it from poping up?

This is what it says in Vista, it should be the same for the Compatibility settings in XP
